Here is our exact process from A to Z.
Yay! You chose us…we are honored to work with you to create a beautiful and memorable story of your day.
We send out our easy to understand contract for you to approve and sign, and take a non-refundable retainer that is approx 1/3 your coverage cost via credit card or check to secure the date. All of this is done online. We do not hold dates without a paid retainer. The date is now yours and we will book no other weddings. Tick that off your to-do list.
Couples book us 1-12 months in advance.
Once your date is secure, we are always here to answer questions. E-mail seems to work best – we find having quotes, suggestions, and timelines in writing essential.
We stay in touch throughout your entire planning process – but the ball really starts rolling 30-45 days out.
30 days from wedding, the final balance is due and we schedule our final photo timeline phone or in person meeting. We send out a detailed timeline questionnaire to either you and/or your planner so we can figure out how best to schedule the photos on the day. You can’t give us too little or too much info–it’s our job to help you navigate these waters and get all the photos you want. If you have a huge family that you are very close with and want lots of family formals; or if you want “only the facts ma’am” and just the 10 must have family shots–we’ll advise and work it all out well in advance.
It’s your wedding day!!! Smile lots and hold hands all day.
3-6 weeks after wedding day we send over a customized slideshow of our favorite 100 or so images with a link to your online hosting, where all 500-750 (or more if a second shooter too) images can be viewed, shared and purchased by guests. This is where you can instantly download high resolution versions of all the images for your archive too. Depending on your package, we send out our Guide To The Album Process at this time as well.
Share your favorite images online or in person to your heart’s content.
You sail away into the sunset…we are cheering you on from the shore!
